José Caballero is a doctoral researcher at the University of Porto and an Associate Statistician (A.Stat., Statistical Society of Canada). His research centres on software reliability under uncertainty.

To this end, he bridges empirical and formal methods, combining statistical experimentation, probabilistic modelling, and quantitative risk analysis with applied category theory, formal proof engineering, and probabilistic programming.
